Explore the Integration of Municipal Cultural Planning into Local Plans for a Stronger Community

Municipal Cultural Planning Inc and Lambton County, with the support of the Government of Ontario, are presenting an exciting workshop about the role of culture for municipalities and how to manage the growth of creative economies using the municipal planning process.
The workshop will provide an understanding of MCPI and the newly created Municipal Cultural Planning and Mapping toolkits.
Interested participant are also invited to attend a presentation on the ArtsBuild Ontario Facilities Portal, the first comprehensive and interactive online advocacy tool that will centrally house up to date information about non-profit arts organizations’ current facilities, and their facilities needs.

**Bob McFarland recently finished a 40 year career that included work in the television, film and theatre production business as well as a long and progressive career in municipal arts, culture, parks and recreation administration in five communities in Alberta and Ontario. He is now happily retired in Woodstock and helping to promote the growth of vibrant communities in Southwestern Ontario.
