The Board of Directors of Municipal Cultural Planning Inc is hereby announcing that it will convene an Annual General Meeting on Friday, November 25 at 2 p.m -held at the University Club in Toronto – 380 University Ave- President’s Suite.
Since our last general meeting, MCPI has overseen the production of two important resources for promoting municipal cultural planning in Ontario and for assisting municipalities in cultural resource mapping projects. In early 2012, a series of forums to “Tour the Toolkits” will be held in partnership with ArtsBuild Ontario in eleven communities across Ontario.
One of the purposes of the November 25 gathering will be to share these developments with those who helped create and nurture the Municipal Cultural Planning Partnership and its successor MCPI. In addition, a new set of formal arrangements will be approved to permit MCPI to revive the network of individuals and organizations that have done so much to promote municipal cultural planning in Ontario.
