Municipal Cultural Planning Membership

Why should I become a member?

MCPI is the embodiment of a shared belief in the power of culture to transform local economies and communities.

The values and goals of MCPI are not solely the property of the Board or the Corporation itself but are the reflection of the dynamic interactions brought to the organization by individuals and organizations who have the imagination, energy and capacity to transform the vision that led to the original formation of the Municipal Cultural Planning Partnership and now of Municipal Cultural Planning Inc into successful municipal cultural plans across Ontario.

The challenge of promoting, strengthening and realizing municipal cultural planning across Ontario requires the engagement of a diverse set of individuals and organizations, in other words by the members of Municipal Cultural Planning Inc

MCPI will host regular gatherings that we are calling “affiliation forums” to share experiences, develop expertise and promote the adoption of municipal cultural planning in Ontario. Membership will also bring opportunities to connect to individuals and organizations with expertise in municipal cultural planning.

How do I join MCPI?

You can become a member of MCPI in one of two ways:
• As an individual member
• As an affiliated member.

In either case, there is no membership fee.
